Hi,
i got my site designed my a mate, however i can't seem to manage what he's done in photoshop.
As you can see in the image below he's got a picture fading into the background.
I want to do exactly the same with a different picture. Can anyone tell me how to do this?

I think for some parts, where it becomes totally white, you can use the paint brush tool, with the color white. But that's jsut when you are fading it to a total white.
