I was just looking around on different design of homepage and I came across this particular one. The website is http://www.guhsd.net/mcdowell/previous/ and I was wondering how do I create these effects? Like the mouse over effect and the text show somewhere else.
If anyone have any tutorials that I can look at or any books that they recommend to look at please tell me. I really need to know how so I can make my homepage for school.

I used this script before to make that stuff appear in a different place.

It's a pain in the neck to customize though. You kinda have to know a little bit about javascript.
An easier solution is to use flash. That's way easy to do that effect in flash. You may be better off looking for an easier script. I didn't even look to see what the guy you listed used.

yea, flash would be an easier way to go. But for javascripts, this site is very helpful. www.lissaexplains.com. If not javascript, then another way you can go is Adobe's ImageReady.
