Hi, all.

I recently purchased a new computer with MS Vista. I installed my Photoshop fine and all, and added the dds plugin. When I went to open up a dds file in Photoshop, the program will either shut down right away, or will show an error saying I need Photoshop 3.0 or hgher. I have Photoshop 5.5 (yes, I know I should update, but I have different things I need to spend my $$$ on right now).

Has anyone else had this problem? Any thoughts on how to fix this?

Thanks.

EDIT: The plug in is in teh correct location (at least it was correct on my old PC). C:Program Files/Adobe/Photoshop 5.5/plugins/file formats.

I have no idea, but is it a case of it being a 32bit only plugin that you are trying to put in a 64bit version of Photoshop?
