Branding iron type effect?

I need to create type (one word) that looks like it was created with a branding iron. I want it to look like its still hot and smoking. Any suggestions?

well for the red hot lok you could try an outline overlay then for the smoke create a layer then click Filter-render-smoke effect , then on the layer style put it as overlay and delete the smoke u dont want with the eraser tool ...........hope this helps
