Actually I need to make this a two part questions. I tried searching and couldn't find a tutorial on shadows.
1. How do you add shadows underneath an image?
2. How do you cut out a character from one image and ad it to another?
These are two things I just can figure out in Photoshop CS2.
Thanks,
Chris |

Ok so if you want to cut something out of a photo in photoshop theres about 100+ ways to do it... one is to use the Extract Filter i found a video on it here at youtube http://youtube.com/watch?v=Y13QRSIyaJA. You can allso use layer mask to color out the parts you dont want... you cna use the pen tool to make a selection then cut out what you want and deleat the rest... or you can just take an eraser to it.
For makeing shadows... when you have a layer with say some text one it and you want to make it look like there is a shadow behind it you use your layer style... in your layer box it is the little symble at the bottom (2nd from the left) that looks like the Flash icon (with the little F) in there if you use drop shadow or emboss you can get a shadow _________________ Braccae illae virides cum subucula rosea et tunica Caledonia-quam elenganter concinnatur! |
