I apologize if this thread is already in existence, but I am curious if anyone knows how to make Animated GIFS on Photoshop CS?
Thanks. |

You have to use Adobe ImageReady to do that.
Create a file in Photoshop that has multiple layers. Each layer should be a unique image. Save this file and then open it in ImageReady. Find the animation palette and make it visible. In the palette's options menu, select the option "make frames from layers". This will create a series of frames from your layers. From here you should adjust each frame's duration from its default of 0 seconds (I believe). You can also highlight all of the frames and if you adjust one frame's duration, they will all take on that value.
Lastly, to save to a gif, you will need to open the optimize palette and choose an output format from there. Then just go file-save as optimized - the file you save will take on the attributes you selected in the optimize palette. |
