When you do a website with photoshop... do you put the text on
the image or do you create a layer and put it on top of the images?
The reason I ask, is that, if you don't have any text how do
search engines crawl your site?
Thanks!

I've been putting the text as part of the PSD image and then pasting the text anywhere on the webpage using a transparent font. This way the text is there for engines to search. I'm sure there's a better way but I have not figured one out yet. _________________ Join me in my attempt to bring Quality Graphics Services to Low Income Neighborhoods. |

if i get what you mean correctly, you can add the words into the meta data when posting the site. as also mentioned you could write the words on the background or wherever and change the colour to the same as the background.
if you mean for creating links, i would tend to do them in HTML, looks sharper and gives you the data for search engines to crawl in one move. _________________ www.richardramsay.com |
