i was watching channelv and saw this video clip (http://www.1200techniques.net/releases/home.do?catalogueNo=RUB181.2 on the side go down to the camera next to "fork in the road) and was taken by the effect used

is this vector imaging? and the effect thats used on the buildings looks very detailed, which is kind of the opposite for all the tutorials on vector which is more just shades... anyway can someone direct me to some tutorials where i can achieve that effect, or maybe an insight into it

thanks[/url]

There are filters in programs like Premiere, which allows you to create effects similar to this. A combination of limited range grayscale, along with a texture or two.

What? to do it in photoshop? Hell no, far easier. :)

Exactly how to get the effect, i would have to do a little bit of experimenting. Let me get back to you.

Okay, made this one in two seconds. First, i changed it to Image-Mode-Grayscale.

The first i did: Filter-Sketch-Graphic Pen (15 stroke length, 30 light/dark balance, right diagonal stroke direction), and a blur to tone it down a bit.

The second one i did: Filter-Sketch-Torn Edges (15 image balance, 15 smoothness, 19 contrast), followed also with a blur.

Is one of these what you're talking about?
