whats up everybody. this is a 45 min sketch i did . the topic was "cold". anyway i thought it turned out pretty cool so i figured i would post it. anyway here is the picture and a pew of the process pictures to go along with it.
hope you like it!
PS: it was pointed out to me that some of the glaciers look like robot ice soldiers. so maybe ill do a follow up on this and make them robots. that would be cool. anyway comments are welcome!
i start with a super fast sketch.. i probably didnt really need this but it helps to lay out the composition.
then i just started adding in the highlights.
after that i added the darks, the little cracks and all then the clouds etc. BAM!

I like the way that the highlights, against the background gave you the borders for the cracks!
