I am working on a panoramic for a friend and I have already turned the sky blue with some clouds but now I would like to make the dead grass green. The image is ultimately going to be turned into a painting using photoshop but I want the image exactly the way I want it before I convert it.

Any good tutorials on how to make dead grass look real and green?

Thanks,
Houston

P.S. If you have any recommendations for converting images to a painting that would be great too. I know that there are plenty, but I need the good ones, ones that you have been very happy with.

Thanks again.

Can you post a sample of the dead grass in question? Dead all over? dead in parts? Reason I ask is that all images are different...but a guess would be to use the following:
Select the dead grass and add a Hue/saturation filter adjustment..
or
If its only patches then clone good grass over dead grass
or
Use the paint brush with a dark green set to overlay or soft light.

These might get you started.
Good luck,

Lasa
