Looks real at that size...but you really can't see the details because of the size...he's not making a shadow compared to her stark shadow..but over all looks good on screen.

Looks good, I would have to agree with Lasa however, you should make a shadow at the same angle as the other. And take out the glare in the sunglasses.

I tired looking at the tutorials for the shadowing but could not understand how to do it, could somebody please explain it in detail. I am using photoshop cs2 and also how would I remove the glare in the glasses??? Thanks for all your help.

Its a very stronge shadow, you need to simply fill a copy of the guys layer with black and move down and left of him (behind)...The glasses might even be alright considering there is some very stronge light making the shadows...but if you want to remove simple clone it out or use a black brush.
Just ideas.

like everybody said, it looks real at this size. but it is very flat. i suggest making the girl overlap the guy. this will creat depth. maybe just have some of his arm go behind the girl.
anyway looks good so far.
