ok i just finished this littlerally about two min. ago .
this is a picture i painted of my father as a gift for my mom for X-mass.
anyway i went for a photorealistic style on the figure but then for the background i wanted to have it turn into a watercolor/line drawing as it recieded farther into the background.
i tried making it all realistic, and the figure just got lost in the detail. it was just to much to process.. so i simplified the background while keeping my dad
as detailed as i felt need be.
anyway tell me what you think!
here are some during pictures... (i flip the drawing and work on it backwards then when im done i flip it back to normal and you can really see all the things you missed. fix it, then flip it again untill you cant find any problems.
im happy with it so it is staying how it is now.
