Maybe you could give me a new direction?
This is the interface. It is a minimal one. The blue section is where the page contents be held (it is vertically sacalable according to the content) and the rest is self explanatory.
All of the remaining screen will be covered with a fixed background. (I can take care of that by myself)
The things is, I'm kind of stuck where I am. I have no direction to advance too. Maybe it's the color, but it has to have a blue-tint to it, and the interface could be changed, but not too much, because I would like to retain it's shape and size.
So maybe you could help me out a little bit? TIA

It looks good already. I'm no expert but if you make it look more like the content screen is embedded between to soft pads. It can make the reader feel like he's peering in between the pads to see the content. Hope that makes sense.
