When I load a picture from my Sony 5.1mp, Photoshop gives a size for the image of 36in x 27in and 72 pixels.
Surely this isn`t right?

Yes it is right, thats the default viewing resolution, go to image/size un-tick the resample box (thats important) then type in 300 dpi instead of 72, click ok and watch it change to more reasonable proportions. Wayne |
