Hello
I am a newbie trying to build my own website. I bought a web template, edited it with Photoshop and now want to bring it all together in FrontPage.
Question: Once I save the photoshop file as a html and open it in Frontpage, I have encountered my first big obstacle. How do I make text or pictures active (click on it and a corresponding new page opens up)? This is for my menu on the right side of the page and also at the bottom of each page. Is this a Photoshop or Frontpage fix?
Please talk slow since I am still learning.
Thank you _________________ Frank Price |

You have to have your pages in a "web" first. You then must apply your theme to the pages (format-theme), then you have to add your pages to your navigation structure (view-navigation). You should have your folder's list open so that you can see the pages that you want to "drag" onto your navigation structure.
You have to drag every page to be included on your navigation bar or they won't show up.
I hope this helps. I've been using Frontpage for about 5 years now; used to be a "Geocities Expert", but haven't given help on it in several years. |
