can someone help me remove background in 2 images. (Image #1, image #2) I want the images to be able to be set in this background (Background image #3) I am sending 3 different post for 3 different images. opps sorry i reposted..

There are many ways to do this...an easy way is to simply use the magic wand at around 30%...click on the background, if it doesn't pick up all of the background hold down the shift key and add to the selection.
Once you have the selection you want go to SELECT/INVERSE. Then SELECT/FEATHER 0.6% (just a guess) ok. copy/paste to a new layer.
Open the blue background image, SELECT/ALL, copy.
Go back to youe original image and press paste. The blue background is smaller then the soldier image. So click on the move tool (make sure the BPUNDING BOX is checked. Stretch the blue background until it fits.
The layers should be as show in my example.

Yes 6 does have the magic wand tool, although I'd use the extract filter (or the pen tool) on the first pic as the backgrounds too dark in places for the magic wand tool to work well. Wayne
