Can someone tell me why, my brush tool won't work? It won't paint. I have it selected and have a layer to paint but nothing comes out. I'm using cs2.

Any suggestions out there?

thanks

Check you have the brush tool not the history brush, then check the opacity and flow are both 100% and that the mode is normal(on the top toolbar), then check that you have no selection active on the layer (otherwise it will only work in the selected area) lastly make sure you using a different colour to the background and that your not painting on a layer mask (depending on the mask black or white might not show up any difference)
If they are all ok try making a new document 6x4 300dpi rgb white, then pick a nice bright colour and try a few brush strokes on that and see what happens. Wayne

I made sure all those bits were taken care of and it still did nothing. Then, a day later I tried again and everything worked again... I think there was a bug in the program, or in my brain. Most likely my brain.

Thanks Wayne

"Theres some one... some thing on the wing..." William Shatner twilight zone.

I didn't know you were a pilot, what a coincidence. Wayne
