as far as your signiture, is it just filters and some brush work?
I think the balance is off. the white stoke that are in little groups in the picture off balance the peice, the white ones right behind the text makes it off balance. the text needs alot of work as you know, it is very boring. the outer glow is a good effect for the cold feeling. maybe try a larger text since there isnt much going on in the background. or maybe there is to much, you cant decide. but try a bigger text and a different font, and try maybe a light blue to white gradient in the text. i think this could be a cool and mysteriouse sig. so keep up the good work and keep us updated on the progress.
