How can i change a woman's hair ? I want to make a black hair, blonde!

i've found many tutorials...i select hair area and make hue/saturation, but in the middle of hair it never stays very blonde...

Black hair to blonde is almost impossible to make look real. I've seen people do it with light brown or super highlighted hair but a head of black hair...would be tough. i would think you would have to give it another color as in colorize it then try and make that color yellow / blonde.
case in point..I first desaturated her dark hair then colorized it reddish then used the selective tool to try and make it blonde...did a lousy extraction i know...lol but maybe you can get an idea from it.
