In my PS CS2 program some sliders won't move in response to mouse movements. For example the levels sliders don't work; the levels pickers don't work - but the rest of the buttons are active and if I activate the numerical controls I can adjust them. Same problem exactly with the shadow/highlight controls - sliders don't move. The rest of the controls in PS seem to be OK.

Hi,
I had the same problem as this and solved it by resetting the preferences files.
1) Close Photoshop.
2) Hold Ctrl+Alt+Shift (Windows) while re-launching Photoshop.
