I would use the match colour tool for this, first make a duplicate image, then use your lasso tool to select a fair bit of the yellow, now click on the duplicate select the blue (use the magic wand, lasso, whatever for this) then go to image/ajustment/match colour, near the bottom is a source option, simply select the other image (the one with the yellow selected) and your sorted.
Very roughly done here. Wayne
