Hey all, new to this forum but I'm doing a photo restore for someone and I'm at a loss.

I know wrinkles on skin can be changed with a combination of the healing brush and maybe some blurring, but what about a photo that has cracks/wrinkles across the entire image.

The only thing I can think of is to find a very small area that isn't damaged and use the healing brush, but that might be just as difficult.

I've attached a zoomed in example to give you a better understanding of what I'm looking at right now.

Thanks in advance.

Chris

You can try to blur the image a little and add noise...or use the dust+scratches filter (then maybe add some noise I didn't on my sample)
Just ideas.

Lasa did a wonderful job on the subject, however if anyone has heard of noise ninja? I would definatly recommend it. It helps taking the "grain" out in images and once you install it will show up in your "filters" catagory. Just a thought, hope it helps.

Lasa,

Looks like the dust/scratches is the best option. You don't happen to remember the settings you used do you?

Good luck,
Lasa
