Ah ok , Firstly, I am a bit confused about the sizes of which I should be creating a website. I'm guessing no matter what size you create it you can convert it from pixels to percentage once sliced right?, anyway thats my first question. Second is, I was just wondering whether it was worth creating the whole thing in photoshop (Layout), or separate images and inserting into a Web Editor (Dreamweaver etc)
Many Thanks

When I create a site I design the whole thing in Photoshop first at a width of 760px. This is a good size for people viewing on a 1024x768 monitor, which is the most widely used screen resolution. You need to decide who your target audience is as there are people using 800x600px and even 640x480px.
Once I have the layout as I want it I use Dreamweaver to map out my layout using CSS which is widely becoming the norm. I would not recommend using Photoshop to create your final site as the html it generates is not going to translate very well across the various platforms and browser combinations.
Try visiting this site for information www.w3schools.com/default.asp. As a print graphic designer I learnt most of what I know through this site. It is a good idea to view other people's sites and look at their coding as this will give a great insite into how to correctly use html and CSS. _________________ Barry Flammia
