I thought I'd add a quick image to show those of you that don't know what the new brush engine in photoshop can do. I did this in 3 minutes and used 5 brushes total. Pretty darn difficult to duplicate this in PS6 in any amount of time.

Thanks for all the advice guys... I think I'll upgrade to PS 7 as soon as I can... but I'm not really in a hurry. It is a lot of money!

Once again I've stopped by to pimp Photoshop 7. While searching for some Dragonheart screen caps, I came across a really nice one, but the color was horrible. I thought, "this would make a great demo photo for Auto Color!"
One of the new features of Photoshop 7 is the Auto Color command as I describe above. The image below shows how Auto Levels fixes the contract and balance issues, but still leaves the purplish color-cast. Auto Color fixes the contrast, etc, but also removes the color-cast.

Do upgrade to golve 6!! Its worth the money! I made my first site using golive in about 5 days. I'm not sure about Photoshop 6 vs 7 because i've only started using photoshop 7 and 5. so I have no clue what 6 is like. But its a big yes to golive.
