Dear friends:

Please see the original template of my jewelry site at:

http://www.immortalgems.com/original/index.html

Please notice the reflected shadoes under each of the menu entries at the top:

ABOUT US JEWELRY Etc.
About US jewelry

Now please look at the jewelry site built on this template:

http://www.immortalgems.com

This site is a fusion of several templates. However, I could not figure out how to create the reflected shadows beneath the menu entries.

I would appreciate your help in learning how to create these reflected shadows. Please provide step-by-step instructions.

Thank you so much.

It looks like you got them pretty close to the first one. Maybe some more clarification as to what part you're having trouble with would help; meaning: are you trying to get the reflections darker? To blend with the shadow from the colored button? To have more transparency?

I am going to assume that you want to make them look more like shadows.

Is the text that makes the shadow links on seperate layers? If so, you can make the text a darker tone of the tan color, then change the blending mode to multiply, then lower the transparency of the layer until it looks the way you want.

Dear watersole:

All my thanks for offering to help. I managed to find a tutorial for reflected, inverted text online. That's why it's OK now.
Here is the URL for the tutorial:

Once again, thank you for your help.

Benjamin
