I was just wondering if anyone could tell me how they think this was done.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

The blackend part? Looks like the painted it black and added some rough edges to give it the burnt look.

What would be the best way to do that? The rough edges part. Sorry, I'm fairly new at this.

I bet you could use a hard smudge tool to get that look...If you know how to use the pen tool you could also go around it then pull little peaks here and there...or you could do them eith the selection tool and fill them with black/hard color.

The selection tool / filled would make jagged peaks and bumps easily.
