I'm trying to take a face from one picture and put it onto a face on another picture as a layer but they're different sizes. I know to use the lasso tool to move the face over but how do I shrink it down to size? |

after you have selected the part of the image you would like to re-size go to your tool bar and click on the move tool and then a box will come up around your selection with handels around the outside of the box.
now to click on the one on the top left while holdong shift(this keeps the part of the image you have selected to scale) now just drag it to the size you want ... hope this helps _________________ http://i72.photobucket.com/albums/i165/100_000/sigone.gif |

Another way to do this (possibly easier, possibly not).
If you have the face you want smaller on a separate layer than the body, all you have to do is be clicked on the face layer and press ctrl+t. This is the equivalent of clicking edit, free transform. This makes the box around your layer so you can edit how big it is. And I would highly suggest holding the shift key like frank z stated, because if you don't you can take your picture out of proportion. Then once you have the face where you want it, simply press enter to apply the transformation. |
