|
|
good morning. my first time here.
i am asked to take a screenshot that won't fit into one page. That means that i would need to take separe screenshots and join them together... once they are merged i can resize it and make it fit into one page.
i know this can be done but i don't know how to.
thank you in advance.

If its a screen shot why don't you simple resize the original screen shot?
Or do you mean the original screen shot is to big for the screen and it takes two or three screen shots to take it all in.
To join them, all you need to do is make a new file canvas size (72 dpi) that will be large enough to hold the full image. Then copy each screen shot to its own layer. Line them up with the move tool, then erase or mask out where they overlap. (a soft eraser set to a medium opacity works fine, masking give you more flexability)
Once you have it lined up and blended (via erasing or masking) crop it to get rid of overages, then resize it.
