Ok now. You have plug-ins and actions. I have neither but am looking into getting them. My question is whats the differance between the two.

A plugin is a small "proram" that adds functionality to photoshop. Typically a plugin will give you some new, fun filters, but ehy can do many other things too.

An Action i s a recording of something that you have done in photoshop. it lets the computer remember what you did to get a certain effect on an image you're making. Later, you can use the action to do exactly the same thing to another image. Actions can also be used to do something to tons of images automatically. This saves a ton of time.
