In Step 19 you see the 3 layers with the text layer on top?
just double click the box that has the "T" in it.
This will automatically hi light your text. |

Thank you!!  .
Now I just have one more problem with this hehe. When I get to step 24 it says to "pass the brush over the flames." However, I cannot do this I can only liquify the letters. The rest of the image in the liquify screen appears as grey and white checkers. |

Maybe click show backdrop on the bottom right hand side in Liquify?
