My problem is that when I am in Photoshop, all the colors are darker and more saturated. but when I save the file, it gets all light and not how I wanted it. Just to let you know, I am running CS2. Any other info someone needs to maybe help me out with this problem, I can provide. Thanks
Here is a pic of what photoshop saved.
And here is a screenshot of what photoshop is showing me that I saved in paint.
Much more full of color. This is what I wanted. I also might add that when I load pictures they are darker than when I open them out of photoshop. For some reason it just makes everything darker when in photoshop.
Thanks for any help. |

well it's not when I save it. When I pull anything into photoshop, it is darker. Like when I take a screenshot and just paste it into a new document, it is darker than the original. I want my photoshop to work. |

Try to configure Photoshop with Adobe Gamma in your control panel if you have not already. That may help. Also maybe saving the files as .psd (photoshop files) _________________ Qubert |

The problem isn't saving the file. The saved file turns out with the correct colors (I print screen, paste in photoshop. it is dark. when I save and open the file out of photoshop, it is perfect). My problem is I can't edit any of the pictures because when I save them they won't be the same as they lookes in photoshop. It is not a problem with how I save it, it is a problem with the colors that photoshop is displaying for me. |

out of curiosity when you go to View > Proof Setup whats the option that is checked?
and when you go to Edit > Color Settings... what option is checked
a print screen of both those options would be helpful. |
