My copy of PhotoShop has worked fine ever since I've had it (about a year ago).

Now, suddenly, I can't open it. When I try, the loading splash screen appears and goes through all the things it's loading, as usual. But as soon as it's finished loading, it automatically quits on its own.

I use PhotoShop for many things, so if anyone knows what could cause this (and how to fix it), please let me know.

Thanks in advance,

-IMP ;) :)

Firstly, it might seem silly but have you rebooted your PC since you've realised this problem?
Secondly, I don't know if there is on photoshop but on some if you goto uninstall it from the PC it gives you an option to repair. See if it has a repair option, Start > Control Panel > Add Remove Programs and click on photoshop.

Yes, I have. And per someone else's suggestion, I've uninstalled/re-installed PhotoShop. The problem remains.

There is no Fix option for PhotoShop. The Change option seems to just re-install it, which as previously mentioned, didn't help.

This is a very weird problem. I've not heard of this before. I'm not sure what to advise you to do, as I'm amazed that re-installing doens't help :o

Try deleting preferences (hold down CTRL+ALT+SHIFT as PS starts up) it fixes all kinds of odd things. Worth a try. Wayne
