and when I resized it to the right one it pixelates. anyway to get rid of this? |

Im not sure if all photoshops are the same but the way i resize is by going through this procedure:
Image
Image Size...
Select size you want.
Resample image: Bicubic Sharper.
And when you click [OK] it should resize without it pixelating.
Or, I think maybe just after you did it you could have pressed CTRL + ALT + Z to go 1 step back.
Im not sure this works for all photoshops but i use CS1 and they work for me.
