Hi. nice site here. This is my 1st post. I would like to take some jpegs that are in standard resoltions and change them into widescreen resolutions so when they stretch on my Widescreen Monitor the picture looks normal. Right now the objects in the pictures are more fat when the get stretched my Windows. Please tell me what to change the 2nd number of the following resolutions...
1600x1200
1280x1024
1024x768
And also please tell me how to figure out the proper resolutions if I come across other non-standard resolutions. My 17" LCD native resolution is 1440x900
Thanks |

Well, as usual I figured out my own answer. since my resolution is 1440x900 I took 1440/900 and got 1.6. So I took the width of the resolutions and divided it by 1.6 and i got my answer. For example...
1280x1024 for standard resolution (1280/1.6=800) ---> 1280x800 for widescreen resolution. |
