okk so on worth1000.com they have a bunch of photoshoped pictures. ex) sharks under water coming up from water, people riding whales, and merged cars.... i was wondering what that is called and can anyone give me a tutorial or a website so i can do any of those thank you

Those are generally caled "photochops". personally I don't do much of that and I can't suggest any tutorial websites.

Some of the stuff from worth1000 end up in the main stream as fact, I have had people send me stuff say isn't this amazing it real...ah.. not!
There are bound to be tutotials on some specific image but what you need to do is learn how the dif. parts of PS come together. blending, masks, soft eraser , eraser opacity, layer modes, styles..etc.
