I've selected teeth to whiten. When I choose adjustments to use curves to lighten them, the adjustment choice isn't highlighted. I've just done curves in the last thing I did with no trouble.
I think I'm losing my mind. Why won't it work????
(I use the magnetic lasso to make my selection or sometimes the magic wand) |

To add to this, I just noticed that if I choose the blur tool or the smudge tool, I get a circle with a slash through it... as if I can't do that at all. This is in EVERY layer.... all layers, I tried choosing them all. |

When working on your file,
choose image/mode
What does it have check marked for you?
Please include all check marks, there should be
X "bit/channel" as well. |

I had the wrong channel chosen. When I tried to move the image onto a canvas, it said (couldn't move the channel).... learn something every day.
