Hi,
Lately when I try to crop an image in Photoshop CS2 (9.0.1) I get the message that the function could not be completed because the scratch disk was full.
I only have a "C" drive and I have over 15 gig free. I have optimized the hard drive and that didn't do anything . Can someone help me with this problem?

Finally found how to correct the problem. I Searched most of the posts and saw where swanseamale47 suggested to hold down the Control-Shift-Alt key while PS2 starts up. I'm not quite sure what this really does, but it sure took care of my problem.
Thanks for the tip swanseamale47.

Edit/preferences/ plug ins & scratch disks
By default PS should use 'startup'
You can specify other areas you would like PS to use.
Choose a drive that has adequate disk space for image editing. If no drive has adequate disk space, you need to make more disk space available. |

Thanks Jiteye. I appreciate all the help I can get.Somehow the older one gets the steeper the learning curve. I have just purchased an external HD with 300 gig so that will enable me to move some files around and free up another 25 gig on my C drive. I did check and now the scratch disk is "startup". I beleive that it was "C:" drive before I used the control-shift-alt tip.
Thanks again for the response.
