Hi all,
I have photoshop CS2 but not clear on assigning profiles, when you go into edit>assign profile, you then have 3 choices >Dont color manage> Working Adobe RGB 1998 and Profile.

Dont color manage - self explanortory
Adobe RGB 1998 - self explanortory
Profile??????????????????????????????

I know most digitl cameras shoot sRGB. which is the default for profile. Or my image has been recognised by Photoshop as sRGB.

SO HERE IS MY QUESTION -

If I want my image to be set as Adobe RGB 1998. Do I use Adobe RGB 1998 (2nd option down) along with setting the profile and choosing Adobe RGB 1998(3rd option down)? Or do i just need to set it as the 2nd option down Adobe RGB 1998 and leave the sRGB as it is in the 3rd option down?

Sorry to go on. But i need to know if i am wrecking a image or not.

Cheers Josel
