How do I save an eps file in Photoshop. I can't seem to save it so that it is able to be opened in any resolution.

Not sure I fully understand your problem.
To save in PS
File/save as..

from the dropdown menu under 'format' choose EPS as your file type.

I have an eps file. When I open it it allows me to choose the resolution of the image.

I've done some editing to the image on the file.

When I try to save it back to an eps file, I lose that option when I re-open it.

Hi again.... as I continue to research this difficult problem, I have found that what I want to do may be called rasterizing?

Does that sound like something that PS can do? Confused

Thanks!

PS works with raster layers (for the most part) rasterizing is something it does to make the images work the way it likes to work with them.

O.K., I found out exactly what I wanted to do...

I wanted to save an image as a Vector file (general EPS file), so that it can be opened to any size.

Unfortunately Photoshop doesn't do this.

Luckily, I have Macromedia Freehand as well, and my problem was solved.

Thanks all for your efforts! Brow
