I can't for the life of me figure out how to crop using a shape from a photo and then to soften the edges???
I know how to select and use invert to crop the outside of the sleected area but I don't want to use a square.

An easy way is to use the polygonal tool in short lenghts. Once you have gone al the way around making your selection go up to SELECT / feather and enter 0.3 (as good a starting point as any)
Or look up Quick mask ... on this forum or in PS help.

ok I think I hav eit now I used..elipse tool..turned it into a path/selection fetaher it and then c&p into a new file
also set it up to a fixed size so that I can use it for multiple photos... see all I needed was to be pointed in the right direction!! |
