This would not surprise me at all. I see that AMD has made some huge improvements from where they were 5 years ago. Good for them. The new intel centrino chips are pretty nice too. |

Sorry for the double post but i should address this. AMDs have shorter pipes so they can deliver large amounts of data faster, such as when gaming. However PhotoShop is mostly what people would call encoding base, which itnel rules at. I would say that you want Intel when working with most situations.
Also P4s are a waste. Its better to go PD, or pentium dual core, seeing as photoshop supports MulitCore Processors, and they really don't cost much more.
AMDs are alright, and a lot of people really love the X2s but nevertheless Intel is somewhat fool proof.
Also Build your own computer, its so much fun, and its way worth it. Visit OCforums.com to find out more people. its a great expierence, or I can help you some aswell. |
