Hi all,

This is my first post, so go easy!

I'm having a bit off difficulty getting my printer to print at exactly the correct size. When I print 21.9 width, it comes out about 5mm wider??

On the Image Size screen here is what is showing......

Pixel Dimensions
width 2587 pixels
height 2480 pixels

Document size
width 21.9 cm
height 21 cm

resolution 300 pixel/inch

On the Canvas Size screen here is what is showing......

width 21.9 cm
height 21 cm

My printer is a HP Photosmart 8450 and i'm using a pc with Photoshop 7...oh and it's a borderless printer and i'm printing on premium matt A4 paper.

Cheers

Hi- I use an HP. This is what works for me. Go to File/Print With Preview. You should see a box labled "Scaled Print Size." Uncheck "Scale to Fit Media". Enter your size requirement in the width box. The height will default to the shape of the image. If you wish an exact size on each side, you will have to crop the size that is too large to get your exact fit.

There may be a better way but I'm new at this also. Good luck.
