I'm laughing at myself.
I have and been comfortable with computers for at least five years, but I am stuck on one of the most simplest things ever.

Okay, here we go.
When I go in to photoshop, and click to get to the color selection, the window that I am to select colors from is half cut-off, if that makes sense. In other words, I see this:

I cannot click cancel or okay, nor can I select my color. So I'm stuck with photoshop open until I close it with ctrl + alt + del. Can somebody help me with this? :P

I have run into this several times.
My solution is to open Photoshop.
Crank my resolution to the max.
(right click desktop/properties ect)
go to your color selection box , move it to the
center of the screen.
Then re adjust your screen resolution.
everything should be fine then.

There is a better way, go to edit/preferences/general and untick the box for save palette location, restart PS and BINGO all the palettes back to default positions. You can set up a custom palette arangment if you wish, but I haven't got the time now for that sorry. Wayne

I have had situations where the
reset palette location didn't work.
However I agree try the obvious first.

Hm, I tried both, and neither of them worked. When I tried changing my resolution, the color window was still stuck up top and un-movable. When I un-ticked 'save pallete locations', all of the windows but the color window went back to their original location.

Maybe I'm SOL? Dead LOL

Edit: I tried changing my resolution after I had already opened the color window in photoshop and it worked wonderfully. Thank you guys! Big Grin

How about right clicking on your task bar
and choose "Cascade Windows"
