Absolutly nothing happens..swat doesn't drop thru the skylight..a little pop up says it can't scan currency. How the hell it knows its currency and not a picture of my dog I'll never know.
I know CS won't scan US currency never tried other ones? So I guess I'll have to go the job route for a little longer.

not if you unplug the internet connection.
but do make sure you alter it appreciably and replace the text that says "this not is legal tender" with some that says "this note is NOT legal tender".

I have to say I'm curious to know how it does it, just out of curiousity I tried an old 10 shilling note (long out of use to avoid any legal issues) and it picked up that as well, now seeing as that currencys been out of circulation for donkys years, I doubt it's in some built in data base.

I'd be interested to know if it will scan in "stage" money (fake prop money) or money from games etc, and will this security feature stop us making copies of certificates in the future?
We have to keep copies of certs here at work so we scan them in (so we have a record of what qualifaction staf have, we have to keep this for legal reasons) Wayne
