Theres a lot of question marks here, if the photos off a "real" print you have, scanning it at a high res may well give you a reasonable shot (I have blown up some of my old pics a fair size) but if it's a pic from a yearbook or off the web then your going to get rubbish most lightly.
Photoshops good, but it does have it's limitations (as Clint Eastwood said lol) when it upsizes it has to guess what pixles to put in, plus any grain/dot patten in the original will get bigger, and at 500% you will probably see it.
There is software designed for just this job, but my experience of them is theres nothing much to choose between them and photoshop. Wayne |
