Hey, I'm not very good a photoshop nor am I an artist which is why this comic isn't done the usual way. I'm thinking about starting up an entire webcomic series but instead of doing something amazing like drawing, I'm just going to take pictures for the frames then do a comic art effect that I learned from a tuturial on MacMerc then study up on things like frames and balloon placement and such. Anyway, I thought I'd give it a try by just throwing a test page together and see what would happen. I'd like some feedback on it please.

thanks

Hey man, i think this is a cool idea, it shoul dbe fun getting people to pose and stuff for the shot. you could also composit things in like explosions etc etc etc. i would say check out some books on succesfull comic production so far i think its cool.

hint (copy and paste the [IMG] script from photobucket and paste it in your pose that way we dont have to go to the web address.

Thanks! I'm working on a second page right now, it doesn't have anything to do with the first page but I'm just experimenting with page layouts right now.

this would be even cooler with a background. the white takes alot away from it.

I was just going by the standard manga way of doing pages by using just a white background. There are alot of juice drops vol. so I should be able to find something to use. It might be awhile until I have it though since all told it's a little over 11 GB

I guess just the 2 for now. I don't have any sort of major story planned yet, still just learning right now. If you think of just some short story or something you want to see I'll give it a try.

Hey, I was bored about half and hour ago so I thought I'd try to take a picture of the this awesome coin from the Yosemite Sam ride at Six Flags, let's just say a friend of mine "procured" it for me ;) Anyway, it was a challenge getting a good picture but after I added a sepia filter and comicified it it turned out pretty cool.
