Hey guys i have a question about this tutorial and many others i find that are unfinished to me, i got to the end and i didn't exactly came up with the same thing, i painted blue but it end it up like that plain blue backround.
How do you reveal the effect itself.

did you set the layer blend mode to colour? on the layers palette is a box that says normal, click on the blue layer (to make it the active layer) then where it says normal, click the drop down box and change it to colour.

That's what i forgot to do set layer blend to color....thanks;)
