In my work I have to draw shoes from sketch. They have to be photorealistic but achieve photorealistic texture is very hard. Here´s an exapmle of a pic and a drawing. What I want is to make a glow just like in the photo. How do you think it can be done?

I'm not sure thats done with photoshop, it might be done with something like illustrater and done by an artist at that, you might get something similar by putting the lighter colour underneath the dark (add the texture to it first) then erase part of the top layer to show the highligh through?? just a thought. an air brush tool, and some playing around with the blending mode might do the trick. |
