I had to change my picture to JPEG temporarily and all the layers got smushed into 1!:eek:

I want to make a new background layer, but it won't let me put it under my current layer. How do I do this? :redface:

On the layers palette double click the little pic, this should open a pop up box, click yes and it converts your background layer to a "proper" layer now you can drag other layers below it.
Note if you flattened it you will have lost any transparent areas as .JPEG doesn't support them. Wayne
