I had kodak easy share. it was horrible. But even worse was the printing software that came with my HP printer. I couldn't print a darned thing on 4 by 6 paper without it screwing up somewhere. Im ust have spent like an hour on it. Finally I went to photoshop and printed on 4 by 6, clicked "fit to media" .... perfect!!
basically what I mean is, using other software will not help your photoshop addiction. Instead it will only strengthen your belief that photoshop is the greatest thing ever, which is kind of against the point...
